The Rapid Response™ Urinary Tract Infection Test Strips detect leukocytes (white blood cells) and nitrite, in urine, as their presence indicates an infection. Treating urinary tract infection early is key to a fast UTI recovery and prevention of further serious problems.
The test is a firm plastic strip with a wide plastic handle making it easy to grip. To use this test, wet test pads in a clean urine stream or dip the pads into clean collected urine for 1-2 seconds.

Yes. UTI can occur without symptoms in young children, pregnant women and the elderly.
Although you can test at any time of the day, your first morning urine would have the most bacteria in it if UTI is present. Avoid testing during your menstrual period.
In general, most substances will not interfere with the test. Consult your physician if you are taking antibiotics. Some medications (e.g., vitamin B2) can affect the color of your urine and may cause false results. Large quantities of vitamin C may cause false negative results.
